General Information

		On Arrival: Air and Heating Three seperate units. One serves the living room, dining, kitchen, and small hall off living room. The bedrooms are served by the other two units. For best results, leave all four bedroom doors closed. With energy conservation in mind, try to adjust thermostats when bedroom areas are not in use during daytime. Same for main living room, dining room and kitchen areas. Ceiling fans on deck All three are controlled by single switch on living room wall against master bedroom. With this on, they can be operated individually from the deck.

Fireplace
Open damper for winter time and close during operation of A/C during the summer. Please be careful regarding newspapers, etc. around this area.

Kitchen We leave the ice maker on always. We suggest on arrival that the tray be emptied into large ziplock bags and store cubes in the freezer. This will permit the ice maker to start operating. Leave kitchen clean, wash all dishes Use only dishwasher detergent in the dishwasher Please do not dispose of garbage or coffee grounds in sink (because of the septic tank ) Compactor not in use at this time

Garbage
Use vinyl bags and tie up tightly. Do not leave outside at night as the racoons will tear them open. Bring to the garbage pen which is located just outside the front gate and place inside pen.

Bathrooms
Please flush only tissue in the toilets. Nothing else.

Deck Furniture
Please do not remove from the deck. (Not for use on the pier)

Long distance calls
Credit card calls or reverse charges only.

Pets
No pets please

Smoking
No smoking please

Pier and Boat Dock
Excellent sunbathing. If you have a boat, I suggest that you tie it up to the two outside poles and to to the pier itself. (too much wave action)

Swim Platform
The floating platform is anchored or tied so that it doesn't get caught under the fixed pier. Please don't rearrange the lines.

Barbequing
Use either of the two units as you please-on downstairs slab only. Please be careful of grease drip on slab.

Located in pantry

Washer and Dryer
Use as desired

Departing
Please lock the house and place chain lock on gate.

Turn off all lights except for lamp in living room and lamp in the front bedroom.

Remove your food from the refrigerator.

Remove all garbage and trash.

Close fireplace by pushing forward (damper handle).

Lock all sliding doors. Please secure aluminum security bars. These bars stand vertically against door when not in use. Do not force downward - raise bar about 1/2 - 1" upward and move downward into position.

Turn all fans off and lock front door.

Lock gate and chain.

Return keys by mail and your deposit will be returned within two weeks.

Things to bring

Disposables
Bath soap, paper towels, dishwasher powder, washer/dryer soaps and large trash bags..

Igloo
You might want to bring an ice chest with a couple of bags of ice.

Appliances
There is a TV in the Great Room and the Master Bedroom. All other rooms are wired for cable, if you wish to bring another television. Small radio, tape player,

Sheets (IMPORTANT)
All four beds are king sized. You will need sheets, pillowcases, and towels. Don't forget a large beach towel for sunbathing on the pier. Extra towels are a must!
